The Founders and Commencement Service brought our College community together in reflection, prayer and purpose as we began a new school year. In his address, the Principal reminded students that belonging is something we actively live each day. As students gathered in uniform, the Emmanuel crest worn over the heart served as a visible symbol of unity and connection, reminding every student that they are part of a wider community shaped by faith, learning and care for one another.
The service also marked the formal induction of our 2026 student leaders and affirmed the shared responsibility we all hold to uphold the values of Emmanuel College. These values, formed and strengthened over more than four decades, guide how we learn, lead and serve together. As we commence the year ahead, our community recommitted to walking forward together, grounded in faith, strengthened through belonging, and guided by a shared commitment to our culture and values.
