Little e’s

A nurturing learning environment where each child is viewed as God’s unique creation

At Little e’s, we celebrate the wonder of childhood and the unique potential of every child. Our goal is to provide a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children are seen as God’s creation and encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

We offer a play-based program for children in the year before Prep, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. Fully endorsed by the Queensland Government and approved for Child Care Subsidy and Free Kindy, our program ensures families can access high-quality early learning that supports each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Set within the leafy grounds of Emmanuel College, Little e’s combines thoughtfully designed classrooms with a natural, outdoor environment that inspires exploration and discovery. Children move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, engaging with gardens, a mud pit, a large sandpit, and a multi-purpose wooden deck beneath our magnificent trees. Our environment encourages imagination, creativity, and collaboration through meaningful play and inquiry-based learning.

Our experienced educators walk alongside each child, fostering independence, resilience, and a love of learning. Through hands-on projects, provocations, and play, children are empowered to explore, ask questions, and develop the skills and confidence that will prepare them for a smooth transition into Prep and beyond.

Little e’s is more than a kindergarten, it is a welcoming, inspiring community where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

A rich learning environment of discovery and exploration

With two well-appointed classrooms and an inviting outdoor space, our open program supports the holistic development of each child, with a particular focus on their social and emotional wellbeing.

We prioritise project and inquiry-based learning, fostering a collaborative environment where young learners can thrive. Where your child’s unique gifts are recognised and cultivated

At Little e’s, we believe that every child is a precious creation of God — capable, creative, powerful and full of potential. Our dedicated educators are committed to nurturing your child’s individual gifts and creativity, providing them with a supportive space to explore their talents and express themselves freely.

By focusing on the individuality of your child, we help them to develop confidence and a strong sense of identity. Your child will regularly engage and collaborate with peers and educators who share similar interests, create deep connections as they begin their academic journey at Emmanuel.

A deep understanding of diverse learning needs

Our gifted educators are experienced in supporting children with individual strengths, challenges and methods for processing information. By recognising these differences, our educators can tailor their teaching approach to accommodate your child’s learning style.

Our engaging curriculum meets each child’s specific needs, ensuring everyone feels encouraged to engage with the material and develop a genuine love of learning. Ultimately, our goal is to nurture the whole child, preparing them for success both in and out of the classroom.
