Water Confidence & Safety (20-30 min class, max 3 students)
This entry-level class focuses on building your child’s confidence in the water. Key skills include safe entry and exit, breath control, submersion, floating, and straight-leg kicking. Children learn to swim independently between the wall and platform. By the end of this level, your child will demonstrate strong body positioning, good front and back kicking, and the ability to turn and float in deep water, paddling back to safety with instructor support.

Deep-water safety includes jumping in, rotating to float, and paddling back independently.

Squad Pathways
Development Squad
Your child will continue building strong technique and water confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Designed for students in Years 3 to 5, this squad focuses on refining foundational skills while nurturing a love for swimming that lasts a lifetime – whether they choose to compete or not. The emphasis is on enjoyment, skill progression and positive experiences that set the stage for future growth in and out of the pool.
Senior Squad
Ideal for students in Year 6 and above, this pathway supports your child in maintaining fitness, refining technique and enjoying the benefits of regular swimming. With a flexible approach to competition, the focus is on balance and enjoyment. Your child can choose to compete without the high demands of performance-level training, making this an inclusive, confidence-building squad for senior swimmers.
Performance Squad
This pathway is designed for students in Year 6 and above who have demonstrated both talent and commitment to competitive swimming. With higher entry standards than the Senior Squad, it supports your child in achieving their sporting ambitions through intensive training and regular competition. Sessions focus on advanced technique, race preparation and performance mindset. This squad provides the structure, challenge and coaching expertise required to help your child excel at the highest level of the sport.
