Overseas Students

1. The Emmanuel Experience Program (EEP)

The Emmanuel Experience Program (EEP) offers limited places each year for international student visitors to attend the College for between one month and one calendar year, whilst experiencing homestay with an Australian family.

The EEP does not offer a formal qualification; a certificate of attendance and a letter describing academic and other participation and progress is provided.

2. Overseas Formal Applications and Enrolments

As a College, we are acutely aware that we are preparing all of our students for life in a global community and economy, and feel that students with experience of life in other countries can only ever add to the richness of this globally-orientated philosophy.

Emmanuel College warmly welcomes families from other countries around the world and we offer a limited number of opportunities for overseas students each year.

Emmanuel College will consider enrolment applications from students wishing to apply for a Student Visa, subject to compliance with minimum requirements and conditions set by the College, and with legislative requirements of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia, including any requirements to undertake extra tuition to learn English to meet the English language proficiency standard needed to enter mainstream classes.

Emmanuel College does not reserve places for overseas students and therefore these applications are placed on the waiting list in the same manner as for local applications.

Applications for enrolment must be made using the College’s Application Form included in the enrolment information pack:
