Our talented Junior School students wowed the audience at the opening night of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. 
Taking us on a magical journey under the sea, every costume, set, song and scene was brought to life with incredible professionalism and enthusiasm.
The Year 2 students enjoyed an engaging and educational visit to the Hinterland Heritage Museum as part of our HASS unit. They explored a range of fascinating historical buildings, including a slab hut, a blacksmith’s shop, a classroom, and a railway station.
Students learnt how everyday items were used by pioneers and discovered what life was like without electricity, running water, or flushing toilets. Highlights of the day included typing on an old-fashioned typewriter, carrying buckets of water, and even experiencing what it was like to be locked in a real jail cell! It was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.

They each played seven games over the course of the day against students from across both the State and Independent sectors. Emmanuel Junior School hosted the event and walked away with several highly commended awards.
