Principal's Message

Some opportunities, like the Junior School FRIENDS program are woven into the curriculum whilst others like the Year 8 Compass, the Year 9 Response, the Year 10 Journey and the Year 11 Mentoring programs are voluntary. They are all, if I’m honest, quite remarkable. These programs are an integral part of the education on offer here, and I would encourage you to talk to your children about joining in.

Outstanding APS Athletics Carnival Results

Last week our Senior School and Junior School Athletics teams competed at the APS Athletics Carnivals. Our Seniors finished 2nd and our Juniors finished 4th. The Senior Carnival was one of the closet ever with just 55 points separating the top 2 places. Both our teams fought hard, filling every event and giving 110% effort.

Across the two carnivals we had a number of outstanding individual performances including 8 age group podium finishes and 58 athletes selected to attend the Regional trials on 5 & 6 September.

A big thanks to David Reid and his coaches for getting the team ready for the carnivals and all their efforts on the days. Congratulations to all our athletes that gave their all. Best wishes to those now competing at the Regional Championships as they seek higher individual representation.
