Principal's Message

Some opportunities, like the Junior School FRIENDS program are woven into the curriculum whilst others like the Year 8 Compass, the Year 9 Response, the Year 10 Journey and the Year 11 Mentoring programs are voluntary. They are all, if I’m honest, quite remarkable. These programs are an integral part of the education on offer here, and I would encourage you to talk to your children about joining in.

Our Senior School APS Athletics

Our Senior School Athletics team recorded a strong second place at the APS Carnival last week. The team performed very well despite having a number of students out due to injury and sickness. We were in a neck and neck battle with Somerset College for most of the day and with the relays being cancelled because of weather delays, we lost the final opportunity at pegging them back at the end of the day.

Our girls were really outstanding, winning four age divisions (14, 15, 16 and Open) and the Girls overall Aggregate, while our boys achieved solidly with a 4th place overall. Our 16 Boys won their age division.

Emma Perry and Gabby Dalton placed third in their respective age championships, while Lachlan Jones received the award for best boy’s track performance of the carnival for his record breaking run in the 1500m.

Congratulations to our Record breakers
