Principal's Message

Some opportunities, like the Junior School FRIENDS program are woven into the curriculum whilst others like the Year 8 Compass, the Year 9 Response, the Year 10 Journey and the Year 11 Mentoring programs are voluntary. They are all, if I’m honest, quite remarkable. These programs are an integral part of the education on offer here, and I would encourage you to talk to your children about joining in.

Junior School APS Swimming Championships Report

In one of the strongest swimming districts in Queensland, our Junior School swimming team put up a great performance to finish a narrow 3rd in the Aggregate Points.

Our 11 & 12 yr age groups in particular were very strong, with some excellent performances across the board.

Individually Josh Booth  (B 11 yr 3 records) & Adéle Phillips (G 11 yr 2 records) were really outstanding. Both of them broke long-standing records held by swimmers who have gone on to represent Australia. They were both age champions.

Our G11 Freestyle and G Open Medley relay teams also broke the APS records!

Riley Sydney ( B 12) was runner up age champion and Abigail Hein (G 12) tied for 3rd age champion.

Congratulations to all 45 swimmers involved in an outstanding effort.
