Annual Senior School Sports Awards - Friday 6 November

As you would be aware, Emmanuel College has a multi-level sports award system. A number of the Senior School awards will be presented at our Sports Award evening with other major awards announced on Junior and Senior School Presentation nights.

As part of our cross checking process for these awards, each student from Year 4 to 12 who thinks they may be under consideration for any award, needs to check the data on ECNet and must let us know if there are any inaccuracies or omissions by Monday 12 October. Criteria for awards are outlined in the Sports Handbook which is also available on ECNet.

Students do not have to submit a nomination form unless they are in Senior School and wish to be considered for a Special Recognition Award for non-school sport.

Students wishing to be considered for a Special Recognition award must have met one of the following criteria:

a)    won an individual State title in the highest division available
b)    been selected in a Queensland team that competed at a National Championship
c)    individually medalled at a National Sporting Championship
d)    been part of a team that has won a National Title
e)    been selected to represent Australia.

Nomination forms for Special Recognition Awards are on ECNet or at the Sports Office.
