Principal's Message

Some opportunities, like the Junior School FRIENDS program are woven into the curriculum whilst others like the Year 8 Compass, the Year 9 Response, the Year 10 Journey and the Year 11 Mentoring programs are voluntary. They are all, if I’m honest, quite remarkable. These programs are an integral part of the education on offer here, and I would encourage you to talk to your children about joining in.

ANZAC Sleepover and Dawn Service

A memorable time was had by everyone who joined us for our first ever ANZAC Sleepover and Dawn Service.

It was great to see families all joining in together and there was a heartwarming sense of Community.

The fun all began with the sunset setup, then on to enjoy a social evening meal. The highlight of the evening was certainly the student (and parent) performances which showcased some of the amazing talent we have here amongst our students and staff. The singing and dancing got everyone warmed up before the late night movie 'Gallipoli' which gave us an insight into the life of the ANZAC soldiers.

It was an early morning start, with a traditional bugle wake-up call and everyone then gathered together for our Dawn Service commemorating the fallen and 'unknown' soldiers. What a treat to have it end off with a Bagpipe solo before everyone tucked into a hearty breakfast prepared by our canteen ladies.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in putting together this very special event. It was certainly one to remember!
