Principal's Message

Some opportunities, like the Junior School FRIENDS program are woven into the curriculum whilst others like the Year 8 Compass, the Year 9 Response, the Year 10 Journey and the Year 11 Mentoring programs are voluntary. Book Fair Celebrations continue... please join us in the Library

Books light up our World’ – This is the theme for this year’s annual Book Week celebrations.  Our Prep to Year 4 students definitely shone as they dressed up as some of their favourite characters from much loved books in our very first Character Parade held recently. There were Mad Hatters, Harry Potters, Little Red Riding Hoods, plenty of super heroes, princesses and so many others. The teachers also got involved and made up a sea of Where’s Wally, with students having to guess who the ‘real’ Wally was.  A lot of fun was had by everyone involved.

Continuing the celebrations this week is the ever favourite Book Fair.  Students are invited to browse the mobile book store that is set up in the library and fill in their wish lists.  The Book Fair will be open before school from 8.00 - 9.00am Tuesday - Friday for students and parents who wish to make a purchase, at lunchtimes Monday - Friday for students to browse and after school Monday - Friday for students accompanied by their parents from 3.30 - 4.30pm.  We look forward to seeing you there.
