Regional Cross Country Championships

In the last week of Term 2, the South Coast Cross Country Titles were held at Runaway Bay. We had our best ever representation at this event and this was eventually reflected in the final selections, where a record number of 14 Emmanuel students were picked in the South Coast team. These students are now competing at their respective State carnivals.

It was a great result by all students involved, with many students running PB’s and a number just missing Regional selection.

The following students gained podium finishes, which is just outstanding considering the depth of runners in the region. Congratulations to all runners and to Mr Ferris for the outstanding work he does with these athletes.

Podium Finishes:

Gabriella Dalton - 1st

Lachlan Jones - 2nd

Matisse Gamlin - 2nd

Royce Ramsay - 2nd
