Our Junior School is a dynamic place where children learn through a broad spectrum of academic subjects, sport, drama and music. Emmanuel College Junior School students learn in a well-resourced and technology-rich environment that aims to satisfy a variety of learning styles.
Students are supported with specialist teachers in a variety of areas that cater for their physical, emotional and learning needs. Emmanuel College support our teachers and students with a variety of programs designed for extending the gifted and consolidation for those who may need extra assistance. Students who excel in their academic subjects are catered for in extension classes for mathematics, writing, reading, philosophy and drama.
The Emmanuel College Junior School has a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy and our academic results speak for themselves with our results substantially above national averages.

The Early Years
The Early Years (Prep–Year 2) at Emmanuel College are full of fun-filled learning experiences. Our goal is that all Early Years students should love coming to school.
The early years are the critical building blocks for your child’s future and at Emmanuel College. We value and nurture the unique personality, gift and educational journey of each child.
The Emmanuel College Pastoral Care program is lead by our Directors of Student Welfare. It is a comprehensive program, developed with respect for the ages of the students from Prep through to Year 12.
Our Pastoral Care program is designed to protect the rights of every individual child and to ensure somebody is always looking out for the needs of each child.
Chaplaincy is a vital and vibrant part of the spiritual life of Emmanuel College. Our Chaplains minister to the spiritual and practical needs of our community, ensuring our staff, students and families receive the best possible support.
Emmanuel College follows the Australian Curriculum for all subjects from Prep to Year 12.
