Learning Support

All children have different gifts and talents and we believe a good school is one that empowers each child to fulfil their potential. A good school will recognise the individual needs of all of its students and develop a school environment which promotes quality learning strategies to cater for all learners; inviting every student to achieve his or her personal best.

At Emmanuel College, we have been very pleased with the performance of our students over a number of years. However, our goal is to graduate each student beyond just academic achievement, rather working with the student to be become the ideal Emmanuel Graduate.

For students who struggle to achieve standard levels expected for their year level, Emmanuel College will work in consultation with parents or caregivers to provide additional Learning Support where required. The College has a wonderful team of experienced and dedicated Learning Support teachers and Educational Assistants who work alongside students and staff to support students in their learning and where appropriate, provide the adjustments they may need to access the curriculum on the same basis as their peers.
